CIVITAS Urban Design & Planning is an award-winning firm with Canadian and international projects specializing exclusively in urban design and the art of community and city building. We partner with some of the world’s leading consultants in economics, environment, transportation, infrastructure and sustainability. We work in a studio environment and our office is located in downtown Vancouver. We are currently seeking grounded, talented individuals who share our commitment to sustainable urban design.
CIVITAS Inc. is seeking an architect/urban designer with a minimum of five-year’s experience designing urban mixed-use developments, with strong graphic design skills and experience in preparing plans, sections, analytical graphics, reports and presentations. Responsibilities include preparing master plans, 3D models, explanatory reports and presentations, client communications, and team management.
Expertise with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite required (PC or Mac). The work could involve all aspects of the project from analysis, preliminary design, design development, and completing reports and presentations. We specialize in the practice of city shaping and community design with projects in Canada, China, Australia, U.A.E. and the U.S. and operate in a studio environment with offices in Vancouver.

Salary is competitive to industry standards plus benefits with base increase negotiable dependent on proven relevant experience.
