Ningbo Culture and Technology Port

The Master Plan assumes several key big moves that will re-shape this area:

• Maintain the historical legacy by preserving and reusing some of the important heritage buildings as tech offices/film making spaces.
• Transform the sea port to knowledge port by creating a info/tech hub and cultural hub. Bring in job and population growth opportunities for this area.
• Creating a sustainable mixed use waterfront community by dividing the 2km waterfront site into 3 precincts with 5 minutes walking circles. Centre Core Area will be activated with laneway retails, iconic restaurants and shops.
• Create a memorable skyline and preserve view opportunities from and through the site to the river and to the city.
