Al Mamzar Concept Master Plan

The resulting plan proposes an ‘Exclusive Urban Island Resort’ combining gated water-based living with beaches, marinas, retail, leisure facilities and hospitality in one vibrant animated environment. Key areas of the plan include:

• Porto Al Mamzar, the vibrant centre of the island with a boat-lined active waterfront marina and adjoining piazza, animated through a backdrop of al fresco dining, retail, hotel, apartments, and a cafe culture;
• The Gateway entry feature signifying the arrival to the exclusive island location with dhow facade, cascading water wall, community recreation facilities, and local mosque;
• The Coves Beach Club and Water, Homes resort-styled leisure facility with recreational components, relaxed offerings, and beach access; and,
• North Island Villas, an exclusive island-within-an-island featuring a private marina and large family homes with panoramic views in a private gated community.
